OOIOO - Taiga
Genre - Experimental, World, Jungle, WTF?!, Rock, Dance
Hello again facebloggers, so I'm currently about 90% through this album and everything is going fantastic so far. If you've ever heard of the Japanese noise rock band "boredoms", OOIOO would be their side project. Once again, very hard to describe their sound. Picture jungle beats with guitar/bass loops with screaching overtones drowned out by the strangest japanese vocals (almost chanting) you've ever heard. I have a real soft spot for japanese music and this is exactly why. If you're a fan of anything experimental or you're just looking for something to smile at tonight then I would for sure give this album a listen. The 15 minute epic trac "sai" pretty much sums up the album.

i remember that once yoshimi say in a interview that her music the sound of ooioo is jungle music and i keeped thinking that it was a new wonderful instrumental genre
i think it has vision and a deepest base for be a real wonderful genre

if she didnt i´m just a fish, i wanted to be a genre, if it is i will play it with joy, i believe i had understaded the gold and green base its a gold made of excellent pure modern base, a creativity out of genre really free, and the green, the nature, the old ancestral human sound of tribes, she said in a interview for the drone french page that she took sounds of a traditional japanese music called ainu, but she takes it in a modern way
i really want to know if you have seen something, i am searching for it for myself, but i cant find nothing
if you know something tell me please friend, it is probably a new wonder of the all world modern music
im not sure, but compared to the other good strange music i see here, it haves a open way to be a genre
i have saw too many things of the musical world and i believe that here is something wonderful, ooioo is one of the most popular strange music bands
